What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic Medicine is a comprehensive approach to health care, which focuses on prevention and treatment of underlying causes of disease. Naturopathic Medicine combines the healing power of nature and modern science to treat the whole individual and not symptoms alone.
Education : Naturopathic doctors are licensed and trained primary care providers in many states. Naturopathic doctors attend a four year accredited naturopathic medical school and undergo intensive clinical training to work in all aspects of family medicine. They are then required to pass a rigorous set of professional board exams before they can be licensed by the state to practice. Licensed naturopathic doctors are able to diagnose, treat and manage patients with acute and chronic health conditions.
